Not St. Clair County. These four townships are part of St. Clair County, but restaurant permits and inspections come from the East Side Health District, not the county health department in Belleville.

Before you open

  1. Schedule an opening consultation or plan review inspection before construction starts.
  2. Complete the district’s plan review packet with your layout, equipment list and menu.
  3. Apply for your food service permit.
  4. Pass the pre-opening inspection.
